Networking Event/Reception

Make plans to attend the Wednesday Networking Event/Reception at the Farm Show Complex, 4 pm - 6 pm!  More details coming soon!

Pop-Up Video Studio

Stop by Focus Media Services’ booth and be part of the “Government Works” show.  Focus Media Services will be creating short, personalized interview videos where you are the star! Come talk about why you are at the Expo, what you’re learning at the Expo, how you get the best value for taxpayers’ or donors’ money, or your best procurement tip. Television journalist Brad Sattin and the Focus Media Services team will make it a fun and easy experience. Brad has been telling stories to TV audiences across the country for more than 30 years. He’s been seen on ABC, CBS, Fox, and CNN. He’s earned four Emmy awards and nearly two dozen nominations for features on technology and business. You will receive a link to your professionally produced personalized video segment which will be suitable for websites and social media platforms.

Tour the Surplus Warehouse

One of the most useful procurement resources that you may have never heard of is the Federal Government Surplus program administered by Pennsylvania's own Bureau of Surplus.  Do you ever wonder what happens to all the stuff that you "voluntarily" relinquish to the TSA to get on an airplane?  You'll be fascinated at what's collected and we have it!  Join a member from our Bureau of Surplus for a 45-minute guided tour of Pennsylvania's Surplus Warehouse, including the famous TSA Room.  You'll find an incredible variety of new and (mostly) slightly used furniture, office supplies, equipment, vehicles, computers, cameras and more--most available to COSTARS members for just a service fee!  It's convenient and less than five minutes from the Farm Show Complex.

Tours will depart from the Farm Show Complex at 10:45 and 1:15 on Wednesday and Thursday.
